Rock with da Ominators on Feb 12, 2010 at Studio Live in Sedona

Valentines Theme Night Feb 13

Sedona AZ (February 4, 2010) - Studio Live, home of the Sedona Performer’s Guild (SPG), continues throughout the month of February with a wide-ranging set of offerings for the performers and performance lovers of our community.

SPG member Dom Giazzon is no stranger to performing in Sedona. As the bass player for many of Sedona’s most popular bands over the past 10 years, currently Radio Dogma as well as past projects such as Liquid Theory, he has held the line through countless nights of grooves.

On Friday, February 12th, Giazzon trades in his bass and his place at the fringe of the stage for an electric guitar and the spotlight at the center. As frontman, guitarist, and vocalist for his new project, da Ominators, Giazzon reveals his self taught vocals and guitar playing with original music and a daring mix of cover songs. The setlist is a stylistic leap of faith, mixing grunge, Americana, reggae, punk, ska, country and Hawaiian music…expect to hear songs ranging from Sublime, Willie Nelson and Pearl Jam to Wilco, IZ, and Paul McCartney. Rounding out this power trio will be Robert “Wing” Ryan on drums, and a special guest bass player known only as “the MoFo”. Show starts at 7:30, tickets are $15.

Saturday, February 13th, SPG Theme Night continues with An Evening of Love Songs, generously produced by SPG member Rick Cyge. Guild members bring their talents and passions to share a take on the grandest of human experiences—Love—through the magic of song. Line-up includes Cyge, Sunny Heartley, Jake Payne, Jim Sheridan, Udi Cohen, Brandi Borrego and more.  Show starts at 7:30, tickets are $15.

Advance tickets for Studio Live shows are available at Golden Word Books and Music located at 1575 W. Hwy 89A (282-2688).  Pre-show prices end one-and-a-half hour before scheduled time.  Cash or check only, please.  For more information on Studio Live please call 282-0549 or email sedonaperformersguild@gmail.com.  The venue is located at 215 Coffee Pot Drive (next to Devi Yoga and Creative Flooring).
